Here is my Heartland Auto game save just after gold triggered. It is 
still quite playable and could use some work in several areas.

1. Kansas City is about to become congested and Gen 2 needs a second 
large station on a bypass track to the south. I suggest an offset track 
to the west and creation of a "special" diagonal crossing to alleviate 
congestion as follows. There should also be a line just under the x but 
I can't draw that here.

2. Columbus is very congested and Columbus Northern needs 1 or 2 new 
large stations there. It also needs a direct route to Knoxville to 
alleviate the Cincinati-Lexington congestion. This latter could be 
further alleviated by a bypass line servicing Frankfort. A large station 
to the east of Columbus providing a link to Knoxville, and a bypass for 
Cleveland-Charleston traffic would be good.

3. Knoxville could use a second station and some clever track 
connections to a new directly north route to Columbus.

4. Bemidgi is about to get congested from the 3 lines entering it from 
the east and could use another station to better accomodate those lines.

If you see some pretty rediculous engines, the AI bought them while I 
was out of town. Also some of the routing will be funny as I probably 
didn't keep an eye on things for the last few months. Some old engines 
need to be replaced and there's a lot of money that can be spent. And a 
lot of cargo that needs to be picked up.

without gambling, how would you merge the 3 companies into one company, 
over 50% owned, with all personal and company debt paid off?
